7 months!

James is officially 7 months old (well he was last week--we are a little behind). Here he shows off his two teeth (you have to look very closely at the first picture), sitting up skills, and his newest trick: kissing himself in the mirror in his favorite book.

Girls' trip to Florida

Abby and Katie went to Florida for a few days last week to visit Kara, Kelly, Brian and Reby. We had a great time, and here are some of our favorite pics.

Hi there!

James had just woken up from his afternoon nap yesterday and I couldn't resist taking some pictures. He is a very big boy at 6 months--20lbs, 4oz and 27 inches long (both 90th percentile), and in true Brocklehurst fashion, his head size is off the charts! Not surprising considering he is now wearing a 3t size hat :)

It's a big day here in the Brocklehurst house. Abby went pee on the potty for the very first time this morning! Woohoo! Here she stands proudly showing the newest sticker on her potty chart, and enjoying her special reward.

Here is James on his way to rolling over, which he did for the first time last week. It takes him quite alot of effort, but he is very persistent!

A big accomplishment

James wanted to show you all that he is now able to hold his head up for more than a few seconds at a time--this is no small feat for our big boy! In other news, he can also do raspberries (he likes to do this while eating, which is cute, but messy); he had his first "solid" food this week, and he has been a very good sleeper--we are praying that it stays this way!

Christmas 2007

It was an exhausting but enjoyable time for everyone as we traveled to Cleveland and Youngstown for Christmas. Abby was really into opening her presents this year (as well as everyone else's), and James seemed to enjoy his first Christmas. Here are some of our favorite shots...
